Our happiness guarantee
Every Storybrush book is made to order — but we want you to genuinely love it. If you don't, we'll make it right.
You have 30 days from the day your book arrives to let us know you're not happy. Email info@storybrush.com.au with your order number and a quick note about what's wrong. We'll either:
- Repaint your characters and reprint the book at no cost to you, or
- Refund your purchase in full, including original shipping.
You don't need to return the book. Keep it, gift it, or pass it on.
Damaged or defective books
If your book arrives damaged, defective, or different to what you ordered, please email us within 7 days with photos of the issue. We'll send a replacement at no cost — this is your right under Australian Consumer Law and we'll always honour it.
Your consumer guarantees
Even outside our happiness guarantee, you're covered by the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. These include the right to a replacement or refund for a major problem, and to have minor problems fixed within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this policy reduces those rights.
Change of mind
Personalised goods (like Storybrush books) are normally non-returnable for change of mind, because each book is made specifically for you. Our 30-day happiness guarantee goes beyond the legal minimum because we'd rather repaint a book than have one sitting on a shelf nobody loves.
How to start a refund
Emailing info@storybrush.com.au with:
- Your order number (shown in your confirmation email)
- A photo or two showing the issue (for damaged or defective books)
- A short note about what we can do better
We respond within 2 business days and process refunds within 5 business days of approval. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
